This will walk you through how to configure your Mac to be setup to dial into GDN, and connect.

The Setup included here is for the following Macintosh Models:

  • Power Macintosh 6100
  • Power Macintosh 7100
  • Power Macintosh 8100
  • Macintosh Performa 630
  • Macintosh Performa 5200
  • Macintosh Performa 6200
  • Other Mac

If your Mac is not listed above please try the setup anyway, but we are working on getting other versions made up for other Mac models.

If you have a specific model the setup is not working for please e-mail us, and let us know which model it is.

Step 1: Select your Networking Set-Up.

You need to select the type of Networking Protocol your Macintosh uses to connect to the Internet.
Open your Control Panels folder, and look for either the MacTCP or TCP/IP Control Panel.

If you see MacTCP Control Panel, then you are using Classic Networking.

MacTCP Setup

If you see the TCP/IP Control Panel, you are using Open Transport Networking.
