If you would like to use the email account that comes with your GDN service, then Windows 98 will want to know a few more things about your account. Select Yes and click Next.
Simply enter your name here, or the name you would like to appear in the From field on outgoing mail. When you are finished, click Next.
Your email address is your username, followed by @gdn.net - for example if your username is jsmith then your email address is jsmith@gdn.net When you are finished, click Next.
You will need to enter the address for our mail server, in the Incoming mail server and Outgoing mail server fields. the mail server is mail.gdn.net. When you are finished, click Next.
You will need to type your username and password one more time to let Windows store your account information in your mail program. When you are finished, click Next.
You can leave the default name in this field. This setting is irrelevant to your Internet account. When you are finished, click Next.
