Highlight the new entry that we just created named GDN from the drop down menu. Then click on the More button. Select Edit entry and modem properties option on the pop up menu.

Go to the Server tab. Make sure TCP/IP is selected as the Network Protocol. Next click on the TCP/IP Settings... button.
Step 8
Verify that Server assigned IP address and Server assigned name server address are both selected. If they are then click OK out of remaing open windows so that the settings are saved.
Step 9
Now you have all settings finalized, and you can connect. To connect first goto My Computer icon. Then goto Dial-Up Networking icon. Highlight the entry we just created. Click the Dial button
